Scholarships Available to Los Alamos High School Students
Application Process:
The application procedure for JROMC Scholarships at Los Alamos High School (LAHS) follows the school’s published directions for all local scholarships. These are available online and in hard copy in December, and application deadlines are in the Spring of the following calendar year. Besides the local scholarship general application, the JROMC application requires the following additional documents:
- A resumé, “preferably one of your own devising,” or minimally, the information from the LAHS Local Scholarship Application in this booklet. Note that no financial information is needed.
- An unofficial transcript.
- A photocopy of SAT/ACT scores.
- A 300-word essay on your background, interests, and goals.
Submission Instructions:
Send a pdf file (or files) of the documents listed above to JROMC.scholarship.apps@gmail.com. You may send each document as a separate file as needed due to size constraints. Make sure to include your name in the name of each file.
Deadline:
Received by email before midnight MT of the date given by Los Alamos High School for all local scholarships.
