Kunetka, renowned Oppenheimer biographer, author of “The General and the Genius,” “Oppenheimer: The Years of Risk,” and “City of Fire: Los Alamos and the Birth of the Atomic Age, 1943-1945” will be presenting a FREE lecture on April 18, 2022 at 7 pm at Duane Smith Auditorium, Los Alamos, NM. Co-sponsored by the Los Alamos Historical Society.
Speaker Biography:
James Kunetka is one of the nation’s leading historians on America’s early atomic history. His nonfiction books range from the story of Los Alamos during WWII to a political history of scientist, J. Robert Oppenheimer. He is also the author of four novels.
